A day trip from Khao Lak offers you to get closer to the oldest rainforest “Khao Sok National Park”. A 5-6 km. Jungle trek (to and fro) through the rainforest will lead you along the cool clear stream for a refreshing swim. Brief  Itinerary

07:10  Get picked up from your hotel in Khao Lak by air-con vehicle and English-speaking guide, and head to Khao Sok National park.

 

Arrive at the national park headquarters and sign up for trekking. Set off jungle walking along the trail. Our guide will help you get acquainted with flora & fauna. Walk up to the stream where you can swim in crystal clear water, surrounded by lush rainforest. On this trail, you can expect to see wild monkeys, langurs, and some reptiles. Enjoy the sound of the jungle before walking back. Have delicious Thai lunch at a local restaurant.

14:00  In the afternoon, get a canoe ride, rowed by the professional canoeman along the Sok River (optional : bamboo raft). Marvel Khao Sok's stunning landscape along the canal. The canoe trip is peaceful, just sit back and enjoy the surroundings. Once arrive at the river bank the staff boils the water on an open fire to make jungle coffee served in a bamboo cup. Get picked up by our guide at the end of the trail.

 

Head to Khao Sok View Point to see the bird's eye view of the lush forest before returning to your resort. In the rainy season, we add a visit to Mae Yai Waterfall as an extra.
