A half day tour from Khao Lak to experience a small-group rainforest trek in Khao Sok National Park, one of the world’s oldest rainforests. Walk through dense jungle, follow a clear stream to a quiet swimming spot, and take in the forest’s natural sights and sounds. This guided 5–6 km round-trip walk follows an easy-to-intermediate trail and is limited to 7 guests per join-in group.

Brief  Itinerary

07:15 Pick up from your hotel in Khao Lak by air-conditioned vehicle with an English-speaking guide, then travel to Khao Sok National Park.

Arrive at the national park headquarters and register for the trek. Begin your guided jungle walk as your guide introduces the area’s flora and fauna. Follow the stream to a natural pool with crystal-clear water, where you can enjoy a refreshing swim surrounded by rainforest. Along the trail, you may spot monkeys, langurs, reptiles, insects and bird species before returning through the jungle.

12:40–13:00 Arrive back in Khao Lak.

Know Before Booking

The trail is suitable for beginner and intermediate walkers, but it is not recommended for elderly guests or children under 7. Heat and humidity in the rainforest can make the walk more demanding.
