Khao lak hi-lights
Full Day

A full day features hi-light activities in the Khao Lak area. Board a bamboo raft rowed by a professional raftman, along Kiangkoo Creek, surrounded by greenery scenery. Visit the educational Turtle Conservation Center at Tablamu Navy Base where the turtle babies are taken care of and released. Fresen up at the biggest waterfall in the area "Lampi Waterfall". Enjoy a delicious Thai lunch, and get an elephant experience by bathing with and feeding them at the ethical elephant camp. A combo day trip in Khao Lak for all ages!

Brief  Itinerary

08:00    Get picked you up from your resort in Khao Lak by air-con vehicle and English-speaking guide. Head south of Khao Lak, and arrive at Kiang Koo Creek where we go for peaceful bamboo rafting downstream, and enjoy the natural surroundings along the creek. Later we drive to the Sea Turtle Center at Tablamu Navy Base, where sea turtles are being taken care of.

Head to the south of Khao Lak, marvel at Thaimuang-Lampi National Park and enjoy swimming at the biggest waterfall in the area called "Lampi Waterfall", in the pristine rainforest.

Enjoy Thai set lunch at the local restaurant

In the afternoon, arrive at the ethical elephant camp to do the "Elephant-friendly Program" in which there is “No Riding”. Here is where you experience and join the natural behavior of elephants, bathing and feeding them, learning more about elephants, and getting closer like never before.

16:00    Return to hotel

** Bamboo rafting is not available in the dry season (February, March, and April). Therefore we add "Canoeing at Little Amazon" instead of "Bamboo Rafting" during that time.
